If you saw “The Conjuring 2” you know who The Crooked Man is.
And according to The Hollywood Reporter, the franchise will continue to grow with the addition of another spinoff, titled The Crooked Man.
The character first made its appearance last year in the hit sequel, The Conjuring 2, the James Wan directed sequel also inspired The Nun spinoff.
Lights Out Director David F. Sandberg Annabelle: Creation and newcomer Mike Van Waes, will write the script for The Crooked Man, based on the story by Wan.
With all the special effects that can be done with this creepy dude, we’re are looking forward to seeing him.
The Conjuring, based on the experiences of real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, cost $20 million and grossed $318 million worldwide in 2013. The sequel, produced for $40 million, has grossed $301 million since its June 10 bow. The 2014 spin off Annabelle ($257 million), and New Line has a potential $1 billion-plus franchise.
Annabelle: Creation will be released on August 11, 2017. The Nun will be released on July 13, 2018.
